Susan: That's exactly why I gave the post the title I did. There is ALWAYS hope. Even when the whole world is against us and it feels like there can't possibly be any, there is hope squished in there somewhere. Thank you so, so much for your kind words! Ross: Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed this post, and I always love seeing new faces around here! You mention something that I didn't: the importance of continuing to push ourselves. Like most things, it's about balance. We have to push ourselves, while at the same time remembering that we're human and we might not always be able to reach our goals and dreams as quickly or independently as we would have liked.

Sam: I'm so glad you wrote this post, it couldn't be more timely. More importantly, however, there is such a powerful message to it...There is always room for hope. I think sometimes all those other emotions kind of crowd it out, bury it deep down, but it's there. And there will always be strands of it to cling to, even in our darkest times.

I can't tell you how happy I am for you for these lessons you've learned, however hard they may have been; I can't begin to tell you what a beautiful person, what an inspiration, you are as well. Keep on holding on, Sam. And I hope if you ever get to that place again, you remember your strength, remember this post.

Very inspiring read! – It's definitely important to hold onto hope when life has you down but at the same time its very important to keep on pushing ourselves. I couldn't agree more with your statement: “Having faith in yourself is so important.” – If you don't have faith in yourself no one else will. Although It's hard to constantly keep chasing your dreams we have to remember that everyone has moments of doubt. Its human. The only thing we can do is keep on pushing ourselves to achieve those dreams and like my grandma would say “keep on, keeping on”
