Re: Previous Post, Online Communities Rock!

My last post was all about community, and the differences between digital and non-digital communities. Well, I just wanted to give a shout out to one particularly awesome online community. I am honored to be a part of a new community blog called the (not so simple) life.  Major props to Matt over at Life Without Pants for coming up with the idea and getting so many amazing bloggers involved! As of now, there are about 15 people contributing, but we’re definitely not opposed to growing. The hot topic right now is social media, and I just made my first contribution with a post called The “Social” Part of “Social Media.” Head on over to the (not so simple) life and check it out. I guarantee you’ll keep coming back for more!

    Yeah, it's awesome! Basically, a bunch of us are contributors to the blog, and we can post whenever we want. There's a general topic, but really no limitations. Let me know if you're interested in joining in, it would be great to have you on board! And definitely check out Matt's blog, he's a cool guy with a lot of great insight.

    Thanks for plugging The (Not So Simple) Life Sam. I am VERY excited to see what the community will turn this into. With almost 20 contributors already in the first week – I see some huge potential in the future. My inspiration really was drawn from the community spirit surrounding the Inconvenience of Change series – I wanted to keep that going, host and facilitate a community driven (and organized) site. I'm nothing more than a gracious host and fellow contributor. It's up to you guys to spread the word and make this all it can be – and I see everyone already taking it upon themselves to do just that.Andhari – I know you are a regular here on Sam's blog – I would of course love you to swing by my neck of the woods – and if you are interested in joining the NSSL community – get in touch with me and I'll be more than happy to send you more info.
