Happy New Year from Life’s Chocolates! I’m starting 2010 with a new attitude. What are your plans for making the new year the best it can be?

  • So sorry I'm late to stop by - just wanted to say that I loved the video, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Hugs and cupcakes :D
  • Thanks so much Jenny!! Happy New Year, hugs and cupcakes to you too :o)
  • Hello darling - first of all, congratulations for expressing yourself so eloquently and amazingly in your first video post. I love this medium and especially the way in which you can just say what you mean - even without the writing of the words. Second of all, you really made me think about how one can strive for both being appreciative AND selfish. There can be a balance of both. The evaluation of oneself and the ability to look inside and see things besides our situations (the externals) is really powerful, and I wish you all of the best things in 2010.

Plus it is also AWESOME to see your pretty face the whole time too!!
  • Beth: Actually, this wasn't my first one...maybe 2nd or 3rd, but still thank you! I've come a long way :) I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and that my message made you think. We can most certainly be appreciative of what we have, and still find the time to put ourselves first. In fact, by taking care of ourselves, we'll be better able to help others.

I wish you all the best in 2010, and I can't wait to meet you IRL in less than two weeks :)

Also, thank you sooo much for the compliment, it made my day!!
  • Happy New Year Sam - I like your new attitude. At the end of the day you have to do what is best for you - and get rid of the people and things that are holding you back from being at your best. Excited to see a lot of great things from you this year (and hopefully more video posts)!
  • Thanks, Matt! Happy New Year to you! It can be difficult to really examine our lives and realize that certain things (and/or people) are having a negative impact on us. But, it's something that we have to do if we want to reach our potential and live a full life. I think we're both on a similar journey, and I can't wait to see where it takes each of us in 2010 :o)
  • Hey, Happy New Year! Great idea to have a new "attitude" for your new year and I wish you best of luck with the new year and the new attitude. I love the idea you did - of putting down what makes you happy and what doesn't to really break it down and understand how to make the happy moments more regular :)
  • Happy New Year to you too, Akhila! Thanks so much for your support and encouragement, I truly appreciate it :) Looking forward to seeing what 2010 brings for both of us!
